Lake Bemidji is well known for it’s excellent fishing throughout all seasons. It is managed for walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, and muskellunge “muskies”. Black crappie, bluegill, burbot, hybrid sunfish, and largemouth bass are also prevalent.

GOLF
From executive to championship style golf courses, the Bemidji area offers many beautiful and challenging options for golfers.
The Annual Birchmont Golf Tournament
The Birchmont is a 6 day amateur match-play tournament held Monday – Saturday in late July. Qualifying is Monday and Tuesday and matches start on Wednesday. There are divisions for all level of golfers.
