Main Lodge
The Main Lodge is the hub of all resort activity at Ruttger’s. As one resort guest put it, “Stepping into the Main Lodge is like stepping back into time.” Little has changed in 80+ years. The huge moose heads and 50″muskie have been keeping watch over their lobby for longer than most of us have been alive.
Pool Building
Guests enjoy the indoor pool, hot-tub, dry sauna, and weight training rooms. Use of the facility is included with lodging. Non-resort guests can purchase a day use pass or monthly membership to use the facility.
Cedar Lodge
The Cedar Lodge is located right on the resort waterfront. All of the rooms have a private deck or balcony and great view of the beach and Lake Bemidji. The Cedar Lodge is a great spot for someone looking for a northern Minnesota vacation with modern accommodations.

Our three, 1 Room Cottages are perfect for a single person, couple, or small family. Cottages 3 & 8 have two full beds, a full bathroom with tub/shower, screen porch, microwave, and a small refrigerator. Cottage 5 is our smallest cottage.

Our 1 Bedroom Kitchenette cottages are perfect for a couple or small family looking for a cottage with cooking facilities. Each cottage has one bedroom with two queen beds, and can accommodate four people comfortably.

The entire lake-side of the cabin is a spacious screened-in porch, great for enjoying those summer evenings.

We have two 2 Bedroom Economy Cabins. Each bedroom has two full beds and an adjacent full bathroom. Both villas have living areas, full kitchen, and dining area, and a deck with a picturesque view of Lake Bemidji.

This 2 bedroom one bath villa has a living room with a gas fireplace, full kitchen, washer and dryer, Central air conditioning, and a deck with a view of Lake Bemidji. The Master bedroom has one king bed, the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed.

3 Bedroom Cabin
Villa #26 is our only 3 Bedroom Cabin. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has two twins, and the third bedroom has one queen bed. The spacious living room and dining area have a gas fireplace and picture windows overlooking a wrap-around deck and Lake Bemidji.
4 Bedroom Economy Cabin
This 4 Bedroom Economy Cabin has two bedrooms with one queen bed in each, and two bedrooms with two twin beds in each. The living room features picture windows overlooking the lake and large deck. With room for eight people this cabin is ideal for family get-togethers.
4 Bedroom Cabin
With room for eight people this 4 Bedroom Cabin, it is one of our most popular units. It has been recently remodeled and now has a gas fireplace in the living room. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed and the other three bedrooms have two twin beds each.
Boat House
Ruttger’s boat rental fleet is the largest in the Bemidji, Minnesota area. The rental fleet includes rental pontoon boats in two sizes, a family run-about ski boat, which is perfect for water-skiing, wave runner, several fishing boats, canoes, and kayaks. Our resort marina has something for everyone.
Children's Program
Sometimes parents like to get away from the children for a few hours to enjoy a round of golf, do some shopping, or relax. At times like these, it’s nice to know that there is a supervised place for the kids to enjoy themselves, meet other children, and have some Minnesota summer fun.
Patio Dining
The Garden Court Grill offers something for everyone. There is an assortment of grilled steaks, seafood, pasta, and other entrees, as well as, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and of course a “kids” menu. Seating is available in the lake-side dining room or outside, on the deck overlooking Lake Bemidji.
